The AMPA's Project Arrow concept vehicles — Vector and Borealis — will be on the show floor at FABTECH Canada, taking place June 9–11 in Toronto. This is a rare opportunity to see firsthand the future of Canadian automotive innovation up close.
What Is Project Arrow?
Project Arrow is a national initiative led by the Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (APMA) that showcases the innovation and capabilities of Canada's automotive supply sector. The program brings together dozens of Canadian companies and organizations to demonstrate how domestic suppliers contribute cutting-edge technology, engineering, and manufacturing expertise to the future of mobility.
More than just concept vehicles, Vector and Borealis are a testament to the strength and depth of Canada's entire automotive ecosystem — from advanced materials and AI-driven design to connected and autonomous systems.
Project Arrow Vector
Vector is where Canadian engineering ambition meets the road. Built around an AI-designed lightweight chassis and a high-performance electric powertrain, this prototype doesn't just imagine what driving could look like in the 2030s — it demonstrates it. Connected, autonomous-capable, and unmistakably Canadian, Vector is proof that the future of smart mobility is already being built right here at home.
Project Arrow Borealis
If Vector shows us the near future, Borealis asks what comes next. Conceived as a long-range research platform for mobility beyond 2040, Borealis pushes into territory most automakers haven't mapped yet — fully autonomous operation, deep smart-city integration, and next-generation zero-emissions propulsion. It's less a concept car and more a question Canada is already working to answer.
